Bead separation
means a breakdown of the bond

more than a couple of miles (kilo-
meters) at low speeds in the

Curb weight
means the weight of a motor ve-
hicle with standard equipment in-
clud ing the maximum capac ity of
fuel, oil, and coolant, a ir condi-
tioning and add it ional weigh t of
optional equ ipment .
Extra load ti re
means a tire designed to operate
at higher loads and at higher in-
flation pressures than the corre-
sponding standard tire . Extra load

Load rating (code)
means the max im um load that a

Maximum load rating
means the load rating for a tire at
the maximum permissible infla-
tion pressure for t hat tire .
