use the system for safety reasons. Have it
checked by an author ized Audi dealer or au -
thorized Audi Service Facility.
- Only use the rearview camera to assist you if
it shows a good, clear picture. For examp le,
the image may be affected by the sun sh in-
ing into the lens, dirt on the lens or if there
is a defect .
- Use the rea rview camera only if the luggage
compartment lid is completely closed. Make
sure any objects you may have mounted on
the luggage compartment lid do not bloc k
t he rearv iew came ra.
- The came ra lens enla rges and distorts the
field of vis ion. The object appea rs both al-
te red and inaccurate on t he screen .
- In certai n situations, peop le or objects in
the d isplay appear close r or furthe r away :
- For objects that do not touch the ground,
such as the bumper of a parked vehicle, a
tra iler hitch or the rear of a truck. Do not
use the help lines in this case .
- If driven from a level surface onto an in-
cline, or a downward slope.
- If driven toward protrud ing objects.
- If t he vehicle is carrying too much load in
the rea r.

- The orange colored orientation lines in the
Infotainment display show the vehicle path
depend ing on the steering wheel angle . The
front of the vehicle front swings out more
than the rear of the vehicle . Mainta in plenty
of d istance so that your outside mirror or a
corner of you r vehicle does not coll ide wit h
any obstacles .
