85-30-62 Installation of the Camshaft Sensor Housing for CAS 2
1. Apply the gasket [06] in the groove of the housing [01]. Only use a new gasket.
2. Grease the O-ring [07] and fit in the groove of the housing [01]. Only use a new O-ring.
3. Apply the housing to the cylinder head and tighten both screws [12] with 12 Nm.
4. Put some approved engine (refer to E4 Operation Manual E4-01-01 or E4P Operation Manual E4-
01-02) oil on the groove and the bearing inside the housing.
5. Insert shaft coupling assembly ([04],[05],[10]).
Ensure that the nose [05] covers the bore in the camshaft gear!
6. Apply the sensor housing cover [02] and tighten the screws [09] with 5 Nm.
7. Install the camshaft position sensor CAS 2 [11] according to Chapter 76-00-52.
