13.5. outputs
Each of the 4 outputs and each of the 3 relays available on the AS1635 circuit board can be configured by choosing an option
from the pull-down menu next to the corresponding item.
The digital outputs are physically connected to the CN5 and CN6 connectors of the AS1635 circuit board.
The 3 relays are connected to the CN7, CN8 and CN9 connectors.
An optional AS1623 extension card can be used to increase the number of outputs. These are then
numbered X1-X2-X3, etc.
Alias The name of the output can be freely selected by the user. This is a simple alias, used
especially on web pages displaying the status of the outputs or in the response of some
XML-RPC requests.
13.5.1. Output type:
Depending on the type of output, additional parameters are available in the accessible framework by clicking on the small
triangle to the left of each line:
For example, for Outputs to the electromagnet, a high initial power level is applied at first to guarantee the activation of the
latches (parameter set as a percentage of the nominal power). This power level is then reduced in order to maintain the position
of the electromagnet without excessive heating.
