5.5.2 Requirements on the electrical connection

occur, if you do not observe this caution information:

The hazard is: elect
rical voltage. In case you do not ensure the requirements to the electrical
connection, the plug-in module can be damaged/destroyed.
Assure, that the in the technical d
ata specified connection values are complied with and that
the connections are made according to the requirements of the CANopen field buses.
To achieve the standard EN 60 204-1 (electrical equipment of machines), you must use
th
e cables, which are recommended there. The connectors may not decrease - otherwise
the following dangers can arise - short circuits, interference voltages a. s. o.

egard to EMC-compatible laying of the CANopen connection cables.
5.5.3 Requirements to the connection cables
The following cables are released for usage from Baumüller:

5.5.4 Operating sequence of installation
1 assure that the b maXX-device is off-circuit.
2 take off t
he dust cover from the controller unit.

module CANopen slave is in slot H (preferred slot), see ZFigure 2on
page 22.

nect the CANopen connection cables and accordingly the connection lines and ter-
minating resistor connectors (RJ45 connector), see ZB.
