Information
M17 drives with mechanical limit switching
detect both limit positions automatically.
In order for the drive to detect the upper
limit position, a defined stop must be
present (angled strip or mechanical stop).
To detect the lower limit position, fixed
shaft connectors must be installed. In
this case, the fixed shaft connectors must
snap into place and the roller shutters
must be pressing down on the window
ledge.
The upper limit position is automatically
detected due to the increase in torque
when the stopper makes contact, the
angled end strip or the concealed stops.
The lower limit position is detected
automatically due to the increase in
torque when the fixed shaft connector
snaps into place.
No installation runs or programming
operations are required.
