Overview of Controls
OUTSIDE Swing-Flow Control: When the QuickFire® Wrap is
at rest, the wheels set in the path of the vehicle. Adjusting the
“Outside Swing Flow Controls” alters resistance as the vehicle
moves the wheels out of the way.
1RGLTR175 Regulator: The function of this Regulator
controls the inward pressure applied to the vehicles front, side
and rear. This pressure is also termed “cloth penetration”.
Exhaust Flow Control (Limit Switch): This is a “Valve” used to
control the speed of the head retract. Change to the “state” of
the Sizer Limit Switches initiates movement. When the wheels
are traveling up the side of the vehicle, the Head is also moving
down the rails of the Boom. The travel speed of the Head can
be adjusted by turning the Needle Valves on the Limit Switch.
INSIDE Swing-Flow Control: When the QuickFire® Wrap is
moving down the side of the vehicle and reaches the rear end,
the forces of the wheels moving inward to make contact with
the rear are adjusted by altering the “I Swing Flow Controls” set
in the path of the vehicle. Adjusting the “Outside Swing Flow
Controls” alters resistance as the vehicle moves the wheels out
of the way.
