5. Install three Connection Rods between the Two Side Beams. Each Beam will require 2 sets
M14 x 40 mm Hex Head Bolts, Ø14 mm Flat Washer, Ø14 mm Lock Washer and M14 Hex Nuts.
Refer to the figure below. Make finger tight. Do not tighten the fasteners yet.
Route and Attach the Balance Chain
The Balance Chain levels the Lift Platform as it is raised and lowered. The Chain is connected between
the top of the Offside Post and the bottom of the Powerside Post. The chain is routed in a rough
Z-shape. Reference the figure below.
