Choosing a proper picture mode for
video streaming
You are provided with a variety of picture modes for different scenarios
in Picture Mode. Go to
> All settings > Display & Sound > Picture for
selection. Usually Cinema is recommended for watching movies.
Available options vary by content. When HDR & HLG content is available,
some options under Picture support HDR & HLG content.
Compared to its standard picture mode, an HDR mode helps deliver High
Dynamic Range effects with higher contrasts of brightness and colors.
Option Descriptions
Vibrant /
HDR-Vibrant
With well-saturated colors and fine-tuned sharpness,
this mode is slightly brighter than
Cinema
mode and
suitable for playing streaming shows.
Cinema /
HDR-Cinema
With accurate colors and deepest contrast level, this
mode is suitable for playing movies.
Night Shift /
HDR-Night Shift
Adjusts the screen colors to a warmer color
temperature to reduce eye strain. This mode is
optimized for use in lit or dark spaces, e.g., movie time
before bed.
Game /
HDR-Game
Picture settings appropriate for playing party video
games. This mode also enhances details in dark
scenes so that enemies cannot hide.
Note
When the input source is HDMI/USB-C and this mode is selected, you are
provided with two options:
Game Standard / HDR-Game Standard
Game Boost / HDR-Game Boost
Select Game Boost / HDR-Game Boost to enhance your gaming
experience. In this case, all image correction settings are reset to factory
defaults and the latency is reduced to ultra-low latency (22.4 ms at
1080P 60Hz).
Bright
Maximizes the brightness of the projected image. This
mode is the brightest mode on your projector.
HLG
Optimized for HLG-compatible movies with refined
color/ sharpness/ contract settings.
