What to do if nothing is shown on the display with BenQ Projector Accessories?
    • K
      Karen WolfeAug 15, 2025
If nothing is showing on the display when using your BenQ Projector Accessories, several factors could be at play. First, check that the display is switched on and that you've selected the correct input. Ensure the video cable is properly connected by re-inserting the HDMI cable between the Host and the display device. If the display doesn't support the Host’s output resolution at 1080p, consider replacing it with one that does. Also, check if the Host is in Network Standby Mode (press the Present key of the Button) or HDMI Standby Mode (briefly press the standby button on the Host or power on the display). Lastly, ensure the Host is powered on (briefly press the standby button) and has sufficient power (change the Host's power supply to a power adapter).

How to fix BenQ Projector Accessories when screen is not appearing after pressing the button?
    • E
      Elizabeth NewmanAug 18, 2025
If the screen from your BenQ Projector Accessories isn't showing when you press the Button, it could be that the Button is connected to a different Host. In this case, you should pair the Button with the Host again. Another possibility is that you're not pressing the Present key long enough. Make sure to press it until the LED indicator changes from green to blue.

Why is my BenQ InstaShow X Projector Accessories screen lagging and audio breaking up?
    • C
      Carlos TranAug 22, 2025
If you experience serious screen lag and audio breakup with your BenQ Projector Accessories, it could be due to an insufficient power supply for the Button. Using a USB 2.0 port on your laptop as the power supply might not be enough. Ensure you're using USB 3.0 as the power supply for the Button. Also, Wi-Fi interference or signal attenuation could be the cause. To resolve this: * Ensure the transmission distance is within 15 meters without obstacles. * Restart the Host to rescan the Wi-Fi 5G channel. * Adjust the transmission power in Web Management > Wireless Network > Wi-Fi Radio Setup.

Why is InstaShow™ not detected after connecting Button to laptop with BenQ InstaShow X?
    • M
      Maria WolfeAug 25, 2025
If the second screen (InstaShow™) isn't detected after connecting the Button to your laptop with your BenQ Projector Accessories, the HDMI connection between your laptop and the Button might be loose. Try reconnecting the HDMI cable of the Button. If that doesn't work, the problem may be with your laptop, so try rebooting it. Also, check if the Button is shutdown, and if so, reconnect the USB cable of the Button.

How to fix 'Pairing failed' message on BenQ InstaShow X?
    • J
      jonesritaAug 31, 2025
If you see a 'Pairing failed' message from the Host on the display when pairing the Host with the Button on your BenQ Projector Accessories, it could be due to several reasons. The Host may have reached its maximum pairing limit; log into web management, then select Pairing > Pairing Status > Delete Delete unnecessary pairings. Wi-Fi interference or signal attenuation could also be a factor; ensure the transmission distance is within 15 meters and without obstacles. Lastly, the Button might not have entered pairing mode in time; when the Host enters pairing mode, the Button should also enter pairing mode within two minutes.

    • W
      William PriceSep 3, 2025
If you cannot log in to your BenQ Projector Accessories, it might be due to forgetting the account and password. Reset the Host. The default login account is 'admin' and the default password is '0000'. Alternatively, if your laptop cannot connect to the SSID with the correct password via Wi-Fi, try connecting to the Host with an Ethernet cable instead.

    • Z
      zgutierrezSep 7, 2025
If the LED indicator on the Host remains static red even after being powered on for 30 seconds with your BenQ Projector Accessories, it suggests that the Host wasn't properly powered off during the resetting process. Try resetting the Host.

Why is the full-screen image cut in half when presenting a video file via Gom Media Player on BenQ InstaShow X?
    • M
      masseyteresaSep 10, 2025
If, when presenting a video file via Gom Media Player, the full-screen image is cut into upper and lower halves on your BenQ Projector Accessories, the issue might be with the media player itself. Try using other media players like Windows Media Player.
