1 Overview
1.1 System Concept
The consistent implementation of PC technology and the use of international
industrial standards has made it possible to fully integrate the control hardware
in the operating PC while still ensuring simple and clear connections to drives
and I/O peripherals.
This integral solution guarantees that only defined and tested device onfigura‐
tions are offered and supplied.
1.2 About this Documentation
The defined combination of different hardware components is the basis of the
MTA 200 control system. The operating PC itself as well as the components
that are already installed in the operator PC on delivery are described in detail
in this documentation.
