Rum Cake

water 80°F/27°C to = l cup
butter, melted 1 TBL
rum extract 2 tsp
vanilla cook & serve 4 cup

one layer yellow cake mix 1 pkg
Program
Place warm cake in dish with sides. Immediately prepare glaze.
Glaze
butter 3 TBL
water 3 TBL
Bring to boil. Remove from heat.
rum extract 1 tsp
powdered sugar p cup
Stir in and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Poke holes in top of warm cake
with a toothpick and pour glaze over top.
Apple Loaf Cake
eggs, room temperature 2 Lg
oil 4 cup
apple, peeled, slice 8 inch l cup
vanilla extract 1 tsp
all-purpose flour 1 cup
salt 8 tsp
sugar l cup
cinnamon p tsp
walnuts, chopped 3 cup
baking soda p tsp

Caramel Topping
butter 4 cup
brown sugar 4 cup
sugar 4 cup
cornstarch 1 TBL
cream 4 cup
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat.
vanilla extract 1 tsp
Stir in. Allow to cool 15 minutes and serve over cake.
