6-1-7. Replacement of platen pulley unit
Disassembly
(1) Remove covers upon reference to "6-1-3. Disassembly / Assembly of platen".
(2) Remove two screws on the platen arm and detach the belt connecting fittings for the platen belt.
(3) Loosen the two hole bolts and relax the tension applied to the platen belt using the belt tension adjustment hole
bolt.
(4) Remove the four hole bolts on the belt connecting fittings to detach the platen belt.
(5) Loosen the two hole bolts and relax the tension applied to the deceleration belt using the belt tension adjustment
hole bolt.
(6) Detach deceleration belt from the pulley.
