To check the printer's output function, you can operate some of moving parts.

This serves to move up and down the
wiper of the maintenance unit.
And this serves to move the wiper cleaner
back and forth.

2 Carriage test
To Cap Position
This serves to move the carriage to "Cap
Position", "Top of Flushing Receiver", and
"Center of Platen".

Sub tank
This serves to turn on or off respective
solenoids within the maintenance unit and
those for sub tank.

<IMPORTANT>
 Take care not to operate the "Cleaner To Post Wipe Position" under the condition of "Wiper To Upper Position".
Take care not to operate the "Wiper To Upper Position" under the condition of "Cleaner To Post Wipe Position".
Otherwise, the wiper and wiper cleaner may collide for each other.
 Avoid leaving them under the conditions of "To Flushing Position" and "To Center".
Long-hour continuation of a head without capping may lead to non-ejection of ink-jet droplets.
