6-2-4. Replacement of main circuit board
In the case that the power is turned on, press the power switch to turn off the power. Conduct replacement of circuit
board allowing for at least five minutes after powering off the printer.
And, in order to prevent electric shocks, the following works must be conducted after unplugging the power cord.
In the case that the main circuit board is replaced, the firmware needs to be readjusted using GTX-4 Service Tool
indicated in section 3-3.
Disassembly
(1) Remove the ink cartridge.
(2) Unplug the cables from the USB connector and LAN connector located on the front side if plugged.
(3) Remove the two screws of the panel-side cover and slide the cover in the arrow direction to detach it.
(4) Disconnect the three FFCs.
(5) Disconnect all harnesses connected to the main circuit board.
(6) Remove the screw of the USB function connector on the front of the operation panel.
