6-2-5. Replacement of lithium battery
In the case that the power is turned on, press the power switch to turn off the power.
Unplug the power cord from the main unit and start the work after five or more minutes have passed.
In the case that the lithium battery is replaced, the firmware for using the GTX-4 Service Tool needs to be readjusted.
Disassembly
(1) With reference to "6-2-4. Replacement of main circuit board", detach the panel-side cover.
(2) Pushing the head of the lithium battery in the direction shown in the photo enables to remove the battery.
Assembly
(1) To perform the assembly, take the reverse procedures to disassembly operation.
(2) Re-adjust firmware according to the following procedures upon completing assembly.
Activate GTX-4 Service Tool,
and select in the sequence of Parts replacement processing > Next > Lithium Battery > Next
then comply with instructions displayed within the GTX-4 Service Tool.
