Disassembly / Replacement / Adjustment
6-1-14. Replacement of carriage motor
Disassembly
(1) Remove the cover with reference to "6-1-12. Replacement of carriage belt".
(2) Loosen the two hole bolts and then the belt tension adjustment hole bolt to relax the tension applied to the carriage
belt.
(3) Loosen the two hole bolts and pull carriage belt out of the belt connecting fittings.
(4) Loosen the hole bolt to detach clamp.
(5) Detach carriage motor harness from the clamp and draw harness toward the inside of the main unit.
