Disassembly / Replacement / Adjustment
Assembly
(1) To perform the assembly, take the reverse procedures to disassembly operation.
<IMPORTANT>
 Adjust tension applied to the platen belts with reference to "6-1-5. Tension adjustment for platen and deceleration belts".
(2) Align the marks, attached at the time of disassembly, on the shaft and support plate.
(3) Align the shaft and support plate end faces on the front side.
(4) Temporarily tighten the two hole bolts while lightly pressing the platen arm toward yourself.
<IMPORTANT>
 Do not tighten the hole bolts at once because doing so may incline the shaft and cause the platen not to smoothly move.
Instead, first temporarily tighten them before finally tighten them.
(5) Tighten the two hole bolts while lightly pressing the platen arm toward yourself.
