(6) Measure the height of the carriage plate and platen center and check if it is 1.64±0.01 in. (41.6±0.2 mm).
(7) Likewise measure height in the vicinity of the four adjustment screws and confirm height is within 0 to -0.01 in. (0 to
-0.2mm) in relation to the center portion of the platen.
<CAUTION>
ï‚· When moving the platen, hold the root of the arm.
Do not move it by holding another portion such as the shoulder bar because doing so may result in incorrect levelness.
(8) To adjust the height, turn adjustment screws from the bottom of the platen with a flathead screwdriver.
