Application and Driving
Intelligent Charging Function
When the manager detects a low battery of engine LV (low voltage) battery,
the engine LV (low voltage) battery will be charged by the power battery.
Therefore, it is normal that SOC or pure electric range displayed on the
instrument will decrease after the user starts the vehicle upon parking.
Warm tip
The engine may start automatically in the long-time parking process of the
vehicle. This is a normal control process of intelligent charging, not a
vehicle failure.
The power for intelligent charging comes from the power battery pack, so
that the SOC may decrease when the vehicle enters the intelligent
charging mode. This is a normal phenomenon, not a vehicle failure.
Discharging Unit*
The vehicle has exterior discharging function: vehicle-to-load discharging
(VTOL).
Warm tip
Use this function when the SOC value is high as much as possible.
The exterior discharging function is restricted when the vehicle power is
low.
With the vehicle power in "OFF" mode, if the vehicle is connected to the
VTOL connection device for a long time without output, the static power
consumption of the vehicle will increase. Therefore, it is recommended that
the user disconnect the discharging plug/charging plug when the device is
not used.
Attention
For precautions about use of the discharging connection device, refer to
the precautions for charging equipment in item 3 of the precautions for
charging.
Before discharging, please confirm the power of the vehicle and estimate
the remaining driving range.
Before discharging in VTOL mode, make sure the load is off.
