■ Do not fill the vehicle with children's toys because they may impose safety
threat, and affect driving safety and may injure children especially in case
of emergency braking or collision, although such toys facilitate children to
play.
When stowing luggage into the trunk lid
■ Place all luggage evenly in the trunk lid and place the heaviest one at the
front-most bottom position as far as possible.
■ Fix objects with a rope or chain, so that they will not move during driving.
Do not pile up objects to a height higher than the seat backrests.
■ For matters on bundling items and fixing devices used for the trunk, contact
a BYD authorised service provider.
Driving Vehicle Through Water
■ Before driving over waterlogged
road stretches, their depth must be
ascertained. The depth of any
waterlogged stretch cannot exceed
the lower edge of the vehicle body.
■ If wading through water is
unavoidable, first turn off the air
conditioner before the vehicle starts
to move, then slow down and drive
slowly, and finally gently depress
and keep holding the accelerator
pedal to drive the vehicle through
waterlogging road sections at a
slow speed.
■ Neither park the vehicle in water, nor reverse the vehicle and shut down the
motor in water.
■ After driving through water smoothly, depress the brake pedal gently and
continuously for several times to evaporate water on brake disc, so that
normal brake performance can be restored as soon as possible.
■ The brake may be get wet when you drive through deep water. In this case,
be sure to drive carefully.
