6-1 Instruction s for Maintenance
Period and Contents of Maintenance
Vehicle maintenance schedule
■ The maintenance schedule is prepared to ensure the driving stability,
reduce troubles and provide a safe and economical driving experience to
the user.
■ Refer to the maintenance schedule for intervals of planned maintenance
which depends on the readings on the odometer or time intervals,
whichever comes first.
■ Once done at the time after the required time interval, any maintenance
item should also be done at the same time interval next time.
■ Have rubber hoses (for the cooling/heating system and the brake system)
checked by a professional technician as per the maintenance schedule.
■ All maintenance items listed are very important. The maintenance interval
of each item is given in the maintenance schedule. Replace a hose
immediately once it is degraded or damaged.
■ All maintenance items necessary for keeping your vehicle always in the
best operating state are listed in the regular maintenance schedule.
■ Maintenance should be in accordance with the standards and
specifications of BYD Auto Company Limited. You are recommended to
have the maintenance conducted at a local BYD authorized service
provider.
■ Maintenance items and the running time or distance listed in the
maintenance schedule are determined with the assumption that you have
your vehicle to carry passengers and articles as a common vehicle, without
loads beyond its load limit.
■ Maintain the vehicle at regular intervals in accordance with the
requirements in the Quality Warranty Voucher and Maintenance Manual of
BYD Auto.
