168 4-5 Driving Auxiliary Functions
■ This system will not prevent the vehicle from running even if the tire
pressure is abnormal. Therefore, it is required to start up the system in
static state to check if the tire pressure complies with the value specified by
the manufacturer each time before driving the vehicle. Do not drive a
vehicle with abnormal tire pressure. Otherwise, the vehicle will be
damaged or the driver or other persons may suffer personal injury.
■ Check the tire pressure at once if you find that the tire pressure is
abnormal. If the low pressure warning indicator illuminates during driving,
avoid turning suddenly or applying emergency brake, but decelerate the
vehicle, drive it to roadside and stop it as soon as possible. Driving the
vehicle under low tire pressure may damage tires permanently and
increase the possibility of tire scrapping. Serious damage to tires may lead
to a traffic accident or result in serious personal casualty.
