Check if the tire pressure
monitoring module and the
tire pressure control module
are normal. Replace the tire
pressure monitoring module
or the tire pressure control
module, if necessary.
Precautions
The service time of tire pressure monitoring module is related to such
factors as daily running mileage of the vehicle.
The tire pressure monitoring module can transmit such information as tire
pressure to the display at regular intervals. For this reason, if the tire
pressure drops suddenly or a tire bursts during vehicle running, the
monitoring module can only transmit relevant data to the display at the time
of next monitoring. If any tire is damaged and the monitoring module is also
damaged and cannot send information, or if you suspect that a tire is
damaged, please stop driving immediately and do wait until the monitor
sends alarm signal.
Incorrect installation of the tire pressure monitoring module will affect tire
airtightness. It is recommended that the tire pressure monitoring module
should be installed and replaced by professional technicians of a BYD
authorized service provider according to the requirements in installation
instructions.
The entire TPMS should be re-matched during tire rotation or replacement
of the tire pressure monitoring module. It is recommended that the rematch
work should be finished by a technician of a BYD authorized service
provider. Otherwise, failure of this system will be caused.
Inflate or deflate tires according to tire pressure values shown on the
instrument and standard tire pressure values and based on actual demand,
because tire pressure values vary along with temperature changes in
different regions.
Wireless transmission is applied to transmit information of TPMS. An
environment with serious interference may make the information reception
effect of TPMS become worse.
