General inspections after starting the vehicle
■ Exhaust system: listen to confirm if leak exists; in case of any air leak,
repair it immediately.
■ Combination instrument: confirm that the maintenance prompt indicator
and the speedometer work normally.
■ Brake: In a safe place, drive the vehicle in a straight line, hold the steering
wheel tightly and then slow down and brake, and make sure that the driving
direction of the whole vehicle is not biased to any side.
■ Other abnormal phenomena: check if there is any loose part, leakage or
abnormal noise.
If the vehicle is normal in all aspects, you may enjoy the driving pleasure at
ease.
Preparations before driving
■ Before getting into the vehicle, check all around the vehicle.
■ Adjust the seat position, the backrest angle, the seat cushion height, and
the height of head protective device, and adjust the angle and height of
steering wheel.
■ Adjust the rearview mirror and side mirrors of the vehicle.
■ Close all the doors.
■ Fasten the seat belt.
Gearshift Lever
■ Shift positions of the gearshift
actuator are marked on the shift
lever, as shown in the right figure.
■ "P": parking position. Parking can
be achieved after pressing this
button. The vehicle should be set
at this position during shutting
down or starting of the motor.
● The "OK" indicator shall illuminate before starting the vehicle.
Depress the brake pedal and press the “UNLOCK” button to shift the
gear from "P" to another position.
