Cooling System
■ If the liquid level is between the
mark lines of maximum (MAX) and
minimum (MIN) of coolant auxiliary
radiator, it meets the requirements.
■ Always use the coolant same as
those applied to the vehicle from the
manufacturer.It is unnecessary to
add any blending agent. Do not mix
coolants of different brands and
models.
■ If the coolant level is below the lower limit mark, refill the coolant to the
upper limit (MAX) mark. Check if the cooling system leaks.
■ Opening the reservoir cover before the motor is completely cooled may
cause spraying of the coolant, which will result in serious scald.
■ The battery coolant may fade when it is directly exposed to high ultraviolet
rays such as sunlight. If the bonnet needs to be opened in the process of
vehicle use and maintenance, direct sunlight should be avoided, and the
performance parameters of the coolant will not change after fading, which
will not affect normal use.
■ Do not add any rust inhibitor or other additives to the cooling system. This
is because the additives may be incompatible with coolant or motor
components.
■ Be sure to confirm that the motor, high-voltage electronic control integrated
module, reservoir and radiator have cooled down before opening the
reservoir cover.
■ It is recommended to drive the vehicle to a BYD authorized service provider
for adding special battery coolant.
