Cruise Control System*
Turning on/off cruise control
system
■ Start the vehicle and press the
cruise control button ① ;at the
moment, the indicator on the
combination instrument will
illuminate.
■ Press the cruise control button ①
again or power off the vehicle to
turn off the cruise control system.
SET
When the vehicle speed exceeds 40 km/h, press the SET ⑤ button to set the
vehicle speed as the target cruise speed. At this moment, the indicator on the
combination instrument illuminates.The setting is successful.
Speed adjustment
■ Pull the lever ② upward; press it to increase the set speed by 5 km/h; press
and hold it to increase the set speed continuously.
■ Pull the lever ② downward; press it to decrease the set speed by 5 km/h;
press and hold it to decrease the set speed continuously.
Reset
Press the RESET ④ button to allow the vehicle to run at the speed stored when
cruise control system was turned off last time.
Deactivating cruise control
Press the button ③ or depress the brake pedal or shift the gear out of D position
to deactivate cruise control.
Overtaking acceleration
In the cruise control mode, if you depress the accelerator pedal to accelerate
and no other operation is performed after acceleration, the vehicle will slow
down to the speed set before the acceleration; if you depress the accelerator
pedal and meanwhile press the button ⑤, the current speed can be set as the
target cruise speed and the vehicle will cruise at this speed.
