Intelligent cruise control system *
■ The intelligent cruise control (ICC) system functionally integrates the
adaptive cruise control (ACC) system and lane keeping system (LKS). It
can provide the driver with longitudinal and lateral auxiliary control of the
vehicle in the full speed range of 0~150km/h (0-95mph), reduce the driver's
driving burden and provide a safe and comfortable driving environment.
■ When the function is activated, the driver is required to hold the steering
wheel at all times and take over the control of the vehicle if necessary.
■ The ICC can also be turned on or
off by operating the physical
switch. When the vehicle starts,
the system defaults to the last
setting state.
■ When the ICC function is turned on, the standby indicator on the instrument
will illuminate:
■ When the ICC function is activated, the activated indicator on the
instrument will illuminate:
■ With the ICC function on and the ACC function activated, when the speed
of the car is in range of 0~60km/h:
1. If the lane lines on the left and right sides of the vehicle exist and are in an
identified state:
■ Regardless of whether there are vehicles ahead or not, the vehicle will
be maintained near the center of the lane.
2. If the vehicle travels from a road with clear lane to a road with unclear lane
no lane:
■ If there is a target vehicle ahead, the vehicle will move laterally along
with the target vehicle ahead.
■ If there is no target vehicle ahead, the ICC will be limited, and only
ACC will be carried out.
■ With the ICC function on and the ACC function activated, when the
speed of the car is in range of 60~150km/h:
