182 4-5 Driving Auxiliary Functions
■ If the alerting sound of the AVAS cannot be heard during driving at a low
speed, stop the vehicle at a relatively safe and silent place, open the
windows, and then place the gearshift lever in "D" position and drive at a
constant speed of 20 km/h (the sound volume will be the maximum when
the vehicle is driven at this speed) to verify the sound effect. If no alerting
sound is heard after doing so, contact a BYD authorised service provider
for treatment.
