Power battery fault warning light
■ When the vehicle is powered OK, this warning light will illuminate. If the
power battery system works normally, this warning light will go out a few
seconds later. This light will illuminate again if there is a fault in this system
later. Contact a BYD authorized service provider for inspection as soon as
possible.
■ If any of the following situations occurs, it indicates a fault in a part
monitored by the warning light system. In this case, contact a BYD
authorized service provider for inspection of the vehicle as soon as
possible:
● When the vehicle is powered OK, this warning light stays on.
● This warning light stays on or occasionally illuminates during driving.
Motor coolant over temperature indicator
■ If this indicator illuminates, the motor is subject to high temperature. so it is
recommended to pull over and contact BYD authorised service provider for
inspection as soon as possible.
Description of other instrument faults
The following fault prompt message may appear on the instrument. Please
follow the recommended treatment method.
Please check the
on-board charging
system.
The on-board charging system is faulty.
Please check if the charging connection is
abnormal and reconnect the charging
equipment. Contact a BYD authorized
service provider if the problem remains
after such operation.
Please check the
vehicle network.
This message indicates a possible fault in
the current data network. In this case, stop
the vehicle immediately and contact a BYD
authorized service provider.
This message indicates a fault in the
headlight system. In this case, contact a
BYD authorized service provider.
