3.10 IMPIANTO ELETTRICO
ATTENZIONE: I gas della batteria possono
provocare esplosioni.
ATTENZIONE: Utilizzare sempre i DPI
previsti per l’operazione da eseguire.
3.10 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Interventions on the electrical system shall be
exclusively performed by qualied sta. In case of
need (for installing any accessory, radio accessories,
etc.), contact your authorised service centre.
Moreover:
• Before attempting any work on the electrical circuit,
always disconnect the battery negative pole.
• Never replace a faulty fuse with a higher rating
one. Fire hazard.
• Never work on elements like the generator or
cooling radiator fan while engine is running.
• Carry out any welding operations strictly following
the recommendations given. See the general
information at chapter 7.1.
Do not start the engine by making a jumper across
the starter motor wires. If the normal electrical circuit
is disabled the engine will start if gear is engaged.
NEVER start the engine if you are not on the machine.
Start the engine only from the driving position, with
gear in neutral.
CAUTION: The battery gives o gases that
might explode. Keep batteries away from
sparks and ames. Check the electrolyte
level inside the battery using an electric torch. Do
not check the battery charge by connecting the two
poles with a metallic object. Use instead a voltmeter
or a densimeter. Remove the battery negative
terminal (–) rst and ret it last. The sulphuric acid
contained in the battery electrolyte is poisonous
and caustic for the skin and tissues, and also
causes blindness in contact with the eyes.
CAUTION: Always use specic PPE for
each service operation.
