3.14 CIRCOLAZIONE SU STRADA

3.14 ROAD CIRCULATION
Under all circumstances, comply with the regulations
about driving wheeled agricultural tractors applicable
in the country of use. WHEN driving the tractor on a
public road, take several preventive measures.
WARNING: DO NOT allow riders on the tractor nor
on the towed equipment.
• Be familiar with the foreseen itinerary.
• Use ashers or beacon to drive on the road, at
day or night, unless forbidden by law.
• Pay utmost attention when towing a load at
transport speed, especially if the towed equipment
has NO brakes.
• Respect all local or national rules about tractor's
speed on the road.
• Use utmost care if doing the transport on snowy
or slippery roads.
• Wait until the trac allows tractor entry on the
public road.
• Pay attention to any blind road crossing. Slow
down until your visibility improves.
• DO NOT try to pass at any road crossing.
• Slow down in case of hairpin bends and turns.
• Describe wide and soft bends.
• Signal your intention to slow down, stop or turn.
• Shift down gears before driving uphill or downhill.
• Keep tractor's drive. DO NOT let the tractor move
forward by inertia with clutch disengaged or gear
in neutral.
• Do not move onto the lane for incoming trac.
• Drive you vehicle in you lane as close as possible
to the road side.
• If vehicles are queuing behind the tractor, set
aside and let them pass.
• Drive carefully. Foresee the actions of the other
drivers.
• When towing a load, start braking in advance and
gradually slow down.
• Pay attention to any possible obstacles above the
vehicle.
• Make sure the load does not hide any warning
lights or other lights.
• Couple brake pedals together.
