5.19 ATTACCO DELL’ATTREZZATURA
all’attrezzatura mentre sta decelerando. Non
operare sull’attrezzatura se è in movimento.
ATTENZIONE: non collegare, scollegare o
regolare la presa di forza con il motore
acceso.
5.19 ATTACHING THE EQUIPMENT DRIVEN BY
THE POWER TAKE-OFF
CAUTION: Before connecting any
equipment driven by the power take-o,
stop engine, remove ignition key, pull hand
brake and disengage power take-o.
CAUTION: When disengaging the power
take-o by shifting control lever, equipment
featuring a great inertia will not stop
immediately. Do not move close to equipment
while decelerating. Do not work on equipment if
still moving.
CAUTION: Do not connect, disconnect or
adjust power take-o with engine running.
Take ignition key to o position so as to stop
engine.
Secure equipment to tractor before connecting the
transmission shaft to power take-o.
If not used, the three-point hitch shall be locked upward.
With the aim of obtaining a larger space for manoeuvres,
the PTO protection could be temporarily shifted up.
With engine o, slightly turn shafts by hand, if necessary,
to align the splines.
Connect transmission shaft with the corresponding
cardan joint to power take-o shaft.
Pull shaft to ensure transmission shaft and its cardan
joint are locked onto power take-o shaft.
Position the power take-o protection down.
Make sure that all protections are in position and in
good conditions.
Never activate the power take-o if main protection is
not installed correctly.
With engine stopped, check integral protections on
transmission shaft, making sure they turn freely on
shaft. Lubricate or repair as needed.
Carefully check for interference, ensuring that the
three-point hitch is locked upward when not in use.
