5.1 INSPECTIONS AND PRELIMINARY
CHECKS BEFORE STARTING
Before starting the engine, perform the preliminary
checks below:
A) Check engine oil level
To check engine oil level:
- Take out dipstick (1) on engine right-hand side.
- Carefully clean the dipstick and put it back fully in.
- Take it out again and check oil level that shall be
between “min” and “max” marks.
- Do not start engine if oil level is below minimum
level allowed. In this case, top up using suitable oil
until reaching correct level.
