Check front ballasts bolts (1) tightening.
Vehicles are ballasted at the factory so as to regularly
respond in most use instances.
Nevertheless, there might be conditions where you
could wish to add weight to the tractor to increase
towing power of the drawbar and decrease excessive
wheel skidding. Said additional weight could be a
weight at the front end of the “suitcase” type. Weight
depends on ground conditions and on the operations
to be performed.
When adding weight to the rear wheels, towing power
increase tends to reduce weight on the front wheels.
It is recommended to avoid using more weight than
actually needed to enhance traction conditions. Total
weight on each wheel shall not exceed the nominal
weight specied by the tyre manufacturer and marked
on the tyres.
It is furthermore recommended to remove any added
weight for light towing jobs such as tillage, sowing,
etc. since carrying unnecessary weight increases
soil compaction, fuel consumption and reduces life of
tyres, bearings, gears and so on.
Contact the local dealer for further information about
available ballast weights and relevant supports. The
tractor weight shall be evenly distributed across all
axles.
