Chapter 7 Solar Commissioning
7.1 Parameters Description
Control of PV Pump
Inverter
0: Null
For standard model

For PV pumps special inverter,y0 Group: Invalid
Selection of inverter
power supply
0: Mains
Inverter power supply through the grid. For frequency control refer to group of b0. y00.02~y0.12
will be invalid.
1: PV Panels
For inverter power supply through solar panels, frequency is given mainly through tracking and
adjustment of the max power-point PI of solar panels. For more details, please refer to y0.02~y0.12.
Attention: For y0.01=0, if a terminal function selected as 51 (Solar panel power enabled) and
the terminal input state is valid, power supply will switch to PV panel

Adopt constant voltage mode; reference voltage is a fixed value, given by y0.03.
1: Max power point tracking (MPPT)
Using max power point tracking, the reference voltage will not stop changing until the system
becomes stable. The maximum power point of this search mode is limited by range of y0.04 and y0.05
2: Automatic MPPT
System track the maximum power point automatically, adaptive to different solar panel, can track
and get maximum power point rapidly.
Irrespective of the reference voltage mode adopted, when bus voltage higher than reference voltage,
the target frequency will change to upper limit of PI output frequency; when bus voltage is lower than
reference voltage, target frequency will change to lower limit of PI output frequency..
3: Fast MPPT
It is the updated mode of Automatic MPPT
4: Quick start MPPT
What is different with mode 3 is that Mode 4 has the faster start speed.
