CAUTION!
Unplug the mains cable from the device before you carry out
any maintenance work!
Fault description Possible cause Corrective action
Instrument does not
work
Power failure
Defective mains fuse
Defective mains plug
Check the power supply.
Replace the fuses.
Replace the mains cable.
No F-SW power output F-SW handpiece defective
Malfunction in control device
Replace the handpiece.
Call your Service centre.
No F-SW power output Handpiece has not been
recognised
Check that the black screw
is screwed to the correct
tightness.
Shock triggering noise
changes after several
shocks
Air in handpiece Hold handpiece vertically
with coupling diaphragm
downwards so that air is
sucked out.
