Inspect the packaging and the device for damages.
Should you find damages, please contact the delivery firm immedi-
ately.
Scope of delivery
• This manual
• UPS device
• Connection cable with IEC 320 plug for the UPS input
• Connection distributor with IEC 320 connection for the UPS output
• Communication software (CD)
• RS 232 interface cable
Installation notes for rack-mounting devices
Selecting the installation site:
All rack-mounting devices (ACTIVE …-19) are intended for horizontal instal-
lation in 19-inch cubicles.
Notice
When installing the UPS, bear in mind the large weight of the individ-
ual components.
For weight purposes, mount the devices as low as possible in the cubicle.
When mounting UPS systems consisting of multiple components, mount the battery
extensions either directly below or directly above the UPS rack device.
