Now it is possible to switch to online operation by pressing the button.
The device again tests the battery voltage (device beeps) and remains in
bypass mode until a constant battery voltage is present.
Notice
If more than one battery extension is connected to the ACTIVE 2000-
19 and ACTIVE 3000-19 devices, the actual number of battery ex-
tensions is to be set as described in the following section “Adjusting
the number of external battery extensions” .
Adjusting the number of external battery extensions
Notice
The UPS calculates the available battery capacity. For a correct cal-
culation, it is necessary to set the number of externally connected
battery extensions. Proceed as follows:
Press the button to switch the UPS to BYPASS operation.
Press the button again and do not release it until the UPS emits an acoustical
signal.
After you have released the button, all LEDs on the "BATTERY" indicator
flash twice. The current setting for the number of externally connected bat-
tery extensions is then displayed. The possible displays are shown in the fig-
ure below.
You can now select the number of connected external battery extensions by pressing
the button multiple times.
Notice
If you do not press the button within 3 seconds, the UPS exits the
mode and you must restart the adjustment procedure.
Once the correct number of connected external battery extensions is dis-
played, the information must be saved.
To do this, press the button and keep pressed down until an acoustical signal
tones.
The adjustment procedure is now concluded.
