1564 is capable of reading 2D driver’s licenses and other American Association of Motor
Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) compliant ID cards. For compliant 2D licensed card
scanning, it decodes the information embedded in the ID cards to a formatted data. This
appendix provides the setup barcodes required while ScanMaster utility provides GUI
setup that is organized and easy-to-use.
Note: The configured settings are saved in flash memory for access once a driver’s
license is read.
