Danger to life from live components!
•
Electricity can cause severe injury or even death. A death hazard from electrical
current may exist if the insulation or individual components are damaged.
•
Before starting maintenance, cleaning, and repairs, switch off and secure against
reactivation.
•
Work on the electrical system may only be carried out by specially trained technical
personnel.
•
Switch off the power supply before carrying out any work on the electrical system.
Check that the components to be replaced are free of current and voltage.
•
Only work on live parts with a second person present who can actuate the emergency
stop switch or the mains switch to turn off the power in case of emergency.
•
Disconnect electrical plug connections from the power supply before plugging in and
out (except for mains connections, provided they are not dangerous to touch in the
sense of the safety regulations).
•
Do not remove any safety devices or disable them through modification.
•
Missing covers and missing or disabled safety devices can lead to dangerous
situations with a risk of severe injuries or death.
•
The system may only be operated with complete and functioning safety devices.
•
Proper function of the safety devices should be checked each time the system is
switched on or at the beginning of each shift.
•
Do not override or bypass safety devices, keep covers closed.
•
Smoking and open flames near the battery can cause the battery to explode and
result in serious injury or death.
•
No open flames near the battery.
•
Do not smoke in the vicinity of the batteries.
•
Observe additional information from the battery manufacturer.
•
Installation, use, and maintenance by specially trained technical personnel only.
•
Switch off the mains supply if you notice any signs of damage to the battery charger,
cables, or plugs. Do not touch damaged parts!
•
Do not touch uninsulated battery terminals, plugs or live electrical parts!
