Driving a robot using Markers
IMPORTANT
Confirm that the localization of the AMR on the map is correct before engaging
Autonomous Mode. Failure to do so could result in the AMR entering Exclusion Zones or
ignoring map features, potentially resulting in damaging the AMR and/or property.
If at least one Marker is set up in the map, a robot can be sent directly to it.
1. Launch OTTO App for the applicable AMR.
2. In OTTO App, selectMain Menu
>Drive .
3. Select Endpoints .
4. Select Show Markers

5. Select an Endpoint from the list.
6. To send the AMR on its way, selectGo.
To stop the AMR at any time, selectStop.
11.11.Driving using the pendant
IMPORTANT
At any time, press the Emergency Stop button on the pendant [35] to initiate an
emergency stop state on the AMR.
Once the emergency has passed, twist the Emergency Stop button in either direction,
and press the Reset button on the AMR to dismiss the emergency stop state. Press the
Start button.
1. Access the rear controls [28] and connect the manual control pendant [35].
2. Use the Movement Mode Selector to select the movement mode.
3. Press and hold the Release button.
4. Use the Joystick to direct the AMR.
