IMPORTANT
• Property damage may occur due to collision of the vehicles with forklifts or other
objects!
• People and objects are only recognized by the AMR’s safety equipment if they are
within the AMR’s scanning range. Collisions with, e.g., the fork of a parked forklift can
lead to significant property damage.
• Property damage due to unsuitable or dirty floors and slopes.
• Uneven, unsuitable or dirty floors or inclines (driving on inclines) may damage the
vehicle (during positioning) or result in the vehicle slipping, losing its load, or tipping
over. This can cause considerable property damage.
• Keep routes clean and remove any soiling immediately.
• Do not drive the AMR on uneven ground.
• Do not allow the AMR to drive down inclines unless it is expressly intended to
perform such action.
• Property damage due to deep-discharged battery!
• If the vehicle is switched on for a longer period of time (parked in manual mode,
vehicle malfunction) or is switched off and connected to a battery charging station,
this can lead to deep-discharging of the battery and may damage the vehicle.
• Take action immediately if malfunctions and faults occur.

4.Intended use
OTTO robots are Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) intended for use in industrial facilities. OTTO AMRs
are intended to transport materials indoors in industrial buildings, utilizing SLAM mapping, and intelligent
navigation and localization to plan their motion. They can perform autonomous navigation and route
planning to achieve their planned jobs and will operate without direct user intervention.
This system is designed to be controlled by a control system and should only be used within the scope of
the supporting technical data and active safety devices must be in place.
Operators are intended to have suitable training or familiarization as needed for their interactions with
AMRs and supporting systems. All information in operating instructions must be observed and compliance
met.
This system is intended for use within locked-out robotic manufacturing cells with no human interaction.
