Launching OTTO App by hostname
Every autonomous mobile robot (AMR) serves its own instance of OTTO App that can be accessed by URL
through a supported browser with the necessary network access to the AMR.
The URL used to access OTTO App should use the same hostname that was entered during the AMR's
network configuration.
For example: OTTO App for an AMR with the following hostname can be accessed using the following
URL:
Example AMR setting Example URL
Hostname: AMR-50 https://AMR-50
1. Using a supportedbrowser, navigate to the AMR's hostname.
2. Wait for the application to load.
Changing OTTO AMR settings
OTTO App allows customization for the settings of a single OTTO AMR.
1. Launch OTTO App for the applicable AMR.
2. In OTTO App, select Main Menu
>Robot.
3. Volume - Adjust the volume on the AMR audio notifications using the slider or by entering a
number in the text field. TapTest to test the new volume level on the AMR.
Set Lock Password - Create a password to lock for the AMR.
IMPORTANT
The default lock password for every OTTO AMR is "4321". This lock only has an
application side and is not secure.
Map Quality - Lower the map quality if experiencing performance issues while mapping. Switch the
quality back to high after mapping to get the best experience.
Reset Remapping Data - Select Reset Remapping Data to delete all remapping data from the
AMR.
Show Lift Controls - Use the toggle to display lift controls for AMR with an integrated lift.
Demo Mode - When enabled, OTTO App automatically continues to the next workflow in the
queue.
4. Select Save to save any changes.
11.10.Driving a robot
OTTO App allows driving of a robot both manually and autonomously.
IMPORTANT
Confirm that the localization of the AMR on the map is correct before engaging
Autonomous Mode. Failure to do so could result in the AMR entering Exclusion Zones or
ignoring map features, potentially resulting in damaging the AMR and/or property.
