11.5 - Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do if my CR2 will not read a code?
1. Make sure the code is enabled, as not all codes are enabled by default.
2. Check to see you are the appropriate distance from the code by checking the
decode zone diagram on page 8 of the User’s Manual.
3. Make sure the code is not smeared.
4. See chapter 8 to configure reader for longer decode times or for non-standard inks.
5. Take image of code using the Image Uploader software located at:
http://www.codecorp.com/support/downloads.htm. Send the image to Code
Technical support at support@codecorp.com.
