3.20.1 Preparing The System
Description: After you install the Tracker base station, you must either master clear the system or
default the system data before you take any further programming action to enable the
feature.
If the Tracker Paging System is part of an initial system installation, you must master
clear the system. If you are upgrading from pre-15A software, you need only to default
the system data.
New Installations
To Program: 1. For new installations, master clear the system.
2. Dial 90. “MASTER CLEAR”
3. Dial 51684 to clear entire system. System returns to normal operation automatically.
Existing Systems
To Program: 1. For upgrades from pre-15A software, default the system data.
2. Dial 10. “SYSTEM DEFAULT”
3. Dial # to default system. System returns to configuration mode automatically.
3.20.2 Enabling The Tracker Paging System
Description: Use this procedure to enable the Tracker Paging System feature as a system-wide feature.
To Program: 1. Dial 17. “SYSTEM FEATURES”
2. Dial 06. “TRACKER XXXXXX”
3. Press A1 to toggle between enable or disable (LED On = Enabled)
—OR—
dial 1 to Enable (A1 LED On) “TRACKER ENABLED”
dial 2 to Disable.
4. Press ✳✳ for configuration mode. “TRACKER DISABLED”
To change setting, repeat procedure and make opposite selection.
