To determine if the computer’s HDMI port is functioning properly, perform the
following procedures. Figure 6-7 outlines the process. Start with Procedure 1 a
continue as instructed.

The HDMI set may be faulty. Perform Check 1

Try using the set for HDMI reception.
• If it does not work, the set may be damaged.
• If the set does work, perform Check 2.

Try connecting a different HDMI to the computer.
• If the replacement television works, the original set may be damaged.
• If the replacement set does not work the system board may be damaged.
