3.5 Specimen Mounting
When you finish specimen preparation, insert Multi Holder to equipment or change it.
3.5.1 Preparation and Mounting of Specimen
1) Release the vacuum state by pressing [Vacuum ON] button of NS.
Make sure that vacuum state is released when you mount the specimen on equipment.
2) Insert Multi Holder into a groove of specimen mounting portion.
If the final height of specimen is big, it can cause collisions with the objective lens or the
BSE Sensor.
Be sure that the final height of specimen does not go up higher than the height of
Housing Cover of Multi Holder.
