Off NormalOperation ReserveOperation FillerCap
Choke
Thechokeislocatedontheleftsideofthecarburetorunderneaththefueltank.Whenthechokelever
isallthewaydown,thechokeisnotengaged.Whenthechokeisallthewayup,thechokeisfullyon.
Thereisanintermediatepositionhalfwaybetwe en
thechokeopenandfullychokedposition.
Whenstartingthemotorcyclewithacoldengine,pushthechokeleverallthewayuptothefullychoked
position.Aftertheenginehaswarmedslightly,pushthechoketotheintermediateposition.Afterthe
enginehaswarmed,openthechokefullyby
pushingthechokeleverallthewaydown.
ChokeFullyOn IntermediateChoke ChokeFullyOpen
Donotridethemotorcycleuntiltheengineisfullywarmedandthechokeleverisinthefullyopen(all
thewaydown)position.
Warning!Donotattempttoactuatethechokeleverwhileridingthemotorcycle.
HelmetLock
Thehelmetlockislocatedonthemotorcycle’sleftrearframe.YoucanattachtheDringonyour
helmetstraptothehelmetlocktosecureyourhelmetwhileyouarenotridingthemotorcycle.Toopen
thehelmetlock,inserttheignitionkeyandturnitcounterclockwise.
Toclosethehelmetlock,push
downontheplungerabovethehelmetlock.
Warning!Donotoperateyourmotorcyclewithahelmetheldinplacebythehelmetlock.Alwayswear
yourhelmetwhenridingyourmotorcycle.
