A car with a discharged battery may be
started by transferring electrical power
from a battery in another car.
This may be dangerous and any deviation
from the following instructions could lead
to personal injury or property damage
resulting from battery explosion, battery
acid or electrical (short circuit) burns as
well as to damage to the electrical systems
in both vehicles.
ï Never expose the battery to naked
flames or sparks.
ï Do not allow battery fluid to come into
contact with eyes, skin, fabrics or
painted surfaces. The fluid contains
sulfuric acid which can cause injuries
and damage in the event of direct
contact.
ï To lessen the risk of injury wear eye

jump start has the same voltage as the
battery in your car (12V).
